We produce sound recordings for blind and partially sighted listeners, of numerous booklets, brochures and documents.

Quality Audio Transcriptions…

Making documents available in audio format is the most versatile way of communication with people who have restricted vision.

Our specialist service includes the adaptations required for transcribing from print to spoken word, together with comprehensive indexing.

A typical audio transcription of your document would include;

  •  Adapting the document for sound recording.
  •  Record a master version.
  •  Record & cross-reference contents and navigation to reflect new  document recording.
  •  Proof-check recording against original.
  •  Duplication master for CD copies.
  •  Printed title on white CD. Minimum size 14 point.
  •  CD packed in a clear wallet or case as required.

You will receive informed advice on all aspects of the production process, and a final product that uses techniques that engage and inform the listener.

Also available are design and packaging, full colour printing and where required, Braille labelling.

We can advise on and produce in any analogue or digital format.

All our material is produced to RNIB guidelines to increase the accessibility of the document for as wide a range of people as possible

Once recorded, the project is digitally edited and mastered. When the master is approved the product is duplicated, printed and packed.

Traditionally audio cassette tapes have been used for alternative media recordings, however CDs and MP3 files on memory sticks have now taken over this role. We can duplicate any quantity for you in any format.

We also include full design and packaging, and where required, Braille labelling.
